SGI Logistics is closely watching COVID-19 developments. Our focus is on the health and safety of our carrier partners, drivers, associates, and customers. As this situation continues to evolve, please continue to check for messages from SGI.
We ask our drivers and staff to follow these recommendations:
If you feel sick and/or have a fever, stay home until you’ve been fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication.
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol to disinfect your hands.
Use a tissue to cover your cough or sneeze and throw the tissue in the trash, then wash your hands. If you don’t have a tissue within reach, cough or sneeze into your elbow.
Refrain from physical greetings, such as handshakes and hugs.
Clean all frequently touched surfaces in your vehicle (i.e. steering wheel, dashboard, door handles etc.) with disinfectant/cleaning wipes at the start and end of your shift.
We ask that driver and staff to notify their manager if they have close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 patient.
As always, SGI’s goal is to evaluate situations as they occur and change methods to minimize the impact to customers, staff and drivers. This situation is no different. Our goal is to safely continue service to all our customers.
